Festival Info

 
 

The festival will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Canal Place in downtown Cumberland, MD. The festival will be from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. filled with music, drag performances, and unity in our community. We will have limited vendors with priority for our LGBTQ+ members for booth/table space at this year’s celebration. Our event series will kick off on Thursday June 27, 2024.

Parking

There are several parking garages downtown that offer free public parking on the weekends. The closest parking will be at the train station and is paid. The Center City Parking garage is on S George Street and just a few blocks from Canal Place. Cumberland Municipal Parking is also available off Frederick Street and is adjacent to city hall.

Performers

Throughout the event we feature local drag artists and musicians. Our 2023 Headliner is Marti Cummings!

Marti Gould Cummings is a NYC drag artist, television personality, and political figure. Throughout their nearly decade long drag career Marti has been a regular fixture in the nightlife world performing up to 6 regular shows a week. They have sold out concerts at 54 Below, Lincoln Centers Big Apple Circus, Dixon Place and regularly tour the world with Atlantis Cruises. 

Marti's album A Very Mary Holiday features some of broadways brightest stars including Tony Award winner Cady Huffman and Tony Award Nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega.

You can see Marti on Fusion televisions Shade Queens of NYC, on The Marti Report on LOGO, Dragged on Yahoo! and on The X Change Rate on The Build Series. They’re originally from Frederick, Maryland!
